| Specifications For Specifying & Consulting Engineers (each of these documents can be downloaded, printed, or simply 'cut & paste' from) |
- CSI (Construction Specification Institute) Section 2333 Spec
This is a standard CSI 3-Part Specification.
- Guide Spec
This is a specification written in simple paragraph format instead of the CSI 3-part format. Smaller projects sometimes prefer these simple specs on the drawings and don't use a 3-part spec. Other times, an engineer may have their own 3-Part spec and prefer to simply "cut & paste" our 'guide spec' language into Part 2 of their own spec. This is also for consulting engineers who are looking for a spec that simply shows our product features in paragraph form, without any of the info from part 1 and 3 of the CSI 3-part format.
- Contractor’s Option
A "Contractor's option" is a spec that engineers can use to let a contractor look at our damper hardware products as the recommended option on a given project. If you're an engineer who wants to stay with your normal product spec but would like to use our Rossi damper components, we encourage you to use this spec to get the contractor's approval to use our hardware in place of whatever was originally written.
